Seonjeong Park is a Korean choral conductor, collaborative pianist, organist, choral singer, and educator based in San Diego, California. Her artistic practice brings together cathedral music, community choral singing, and concert curation, creating meaningful connections between worship and performance, tradition and innovation.

She currently serves as Interim Choir Director at St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral in San Diego, where she directs the Cathedral Choir, Cathedral Schola, and Choristers while overseeing music for weekly liturgy, Evensong, and major services. Alongside her cathedral ministry, she is Artistic Director of Stellarum Chamber Choir, shaping each concert season through carefully curated programs that invite audiences to experience choral music through a unified artistic vision.

Beyond her work with established ensembles, Seonjeong develops original concert projects that explore new ways of experiencing choral music. Through initiatives such as Echo and How Do You Keep the Music Playing?, she creates performances that bring together sacred and secular repertoire, historical and contemporary voices, and interdisciplinary collaborations. Her work is guided by the belief that programming is more than selecting repertoire—it is the art of shaping a meaningful musical journey.

Originally from South Korea, Seonjeong earned her Bachelor of Music in Church Music from Yonsei University before completing a Master of Music in Choral Conducting at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, where she studied with Dr. Dominick DiOrio. During her graduate studies, she served as Co-Director of the Conductors Chorus, Assistant Conductor of the Singing Hoosiers, Assistant Chorus Master for the Indiana University Opera Theater, and Co-Director of the All-Campus Chorus.

Whether preparing cathedral worship, designing a concert season, or developing collaborative artistic projects, Seonjeong seeks to create performances that are musically compelling, thoughtfully curated, and deeply rooted in human connection.
